With four years experience, mainly within the area of sexual abuse counselling, I am able to offer a confidential, ethical, empathic and non-judgemental service to clients presenting with a range of difficulties. As a person centred counselling psychotherapist, I can provide the conditions in which to explore issues and feelings. The person centred approach is non-directive, acknowledges the unique experience of the individual, and encourages the discovery of a healthy, congruent way of being.
Many people feel isolated, lost, confused, depressed, ashamed or angry at times, for a number of reasons, and these feelings can become overwhelming. The need to have these emotions acknowledged and heard is fundamental in human beings. This is where counselling can help. Within a deeply relational alliance, areas of emotional distress may be explored and expressed without the fear of negative judgement. If you feel that counselling may help, please contact me for further details or to arrange an initial assessment session.
