Pinehurst is set in the beautiful North Devon overlooking the sea and Chambercombe Valley. Its a beautiful victorian detached home set in an acre.
PHILOSOPHY OF CARE
We offer prestigious care to the elderley, and maintain skills and independance and help to enjoy life and fulfil the qualities of social independance whilst having assistance where required with fully trained staff 24 hours of the day! We offer an excelent standard of care in an environment which reflects home life which is safe and secure.
Each person needs are carefully identified and programmes are developed to support those needs whilst recognising choice, rigjhts and dignity.
ACCOMMODATION
All rooms are equipped for elderly care. TV sockets and electrical sockets are fitted in each room and telephone points are fitted on request.
Residents who wish to do so are encouraged to bring their own furniture and belongs as a sense of familiarity.
All furniture etc must conform to fire safety regulations.
CATERING
We have excellent home cooked meals, in a wide choice of varieties, and all foods are locally sourced accommodating individual tastes,all special diets are catered for.
AMENITIES
Pinehurst has all the comforts of home and more!! We have a professional hairdresser visit once a week as well as a monthly chiropodist, a big communal lounge with a big screen and a beautiful quiet conservatory, with views all round. There is no specified visiting times apart from the exclusion of meal times.
We provide a visting clergyman, and will escort those residents who wish to attend chuch.
RECREATION
In addition to supporting the residents in individual activities reminiscence sessions are also held twice a week for the group setting. Regular outings are a must!!!! We also provide outside agencies to come and entertain the residents.
FEES
Fees are inclusive of meals, beverages, linen, laundering ans residential care and activities.
