CARE HOME

We are a registered care home for the over 65's and dementia. we have a good reputation in Ilfracombe and hte surrounding area, and have recently passed our CQC inspection.
We are based in Ilfracombe by the swimming baths and rugby club and are about a 15 minute walk from the Town centre.
We believe in promoting choice and rights in our services and maintaining skills to ensure good stimulation within our care services. All of our clients are treated with respect ensuring tht dignity and privacy are protected. We firmly encourage interaction through activity and person centred planning, and with outings and trips that we do regularly. This includes treatment and other care services.
All of our clients have a key worker which encourages one to one time, and also better communication between each other.
80% of staff are NVQ trained or training to a level 2 or 3. They also have regular training sessions to update and continue professional development and knowledge, including the registered manager.
We also like to take our clients on regular trips, and we often go out for dinner at the local Golf Club, we have the children from the local schools come out and do activities with the clients as well as a reminiscence lady twice a week.
Our fees start at £442 a week and social services payments are accepted.
