The Salaam Community Centre is a community centre based in central Hartlepool and specialises in the provision of services for people from BME backgrounds.
The staff team includes 3 bilingual development workers that are fully fluent in: English, Polish, Hindi, Urdu, Punjabi, Bengali and Swahili.
The centre offers a drop-in information, advice and guidance service Monday to Friday 10am till 5pm, as well as a range of courses that are tailored to suit the needs of BME communities with examination papers provided in different languages upon request.
The centre is open to people of all backgrounds and provides a range of activities for both children and adults.
A large Hall and training rooms are available to rent and there is also a Fitness Suite and Café!
