What is Psychosexual Counselling (Sex Therapy)?
Couples and Individuals come to Psychosexual Counselling with a variety of concerns. Maybe they have noticed a difference in their libidos, or lack of desire for sex. Perhaps their sexual relationship has changed after having children.
Your problem could be fairly recent or long standing. Sometimes sexual issues can come after a previously good sex life. Your sexual confidence could be low after the end of a relationship. Maybe you are not sexually confident and need a little help and education.
Within Psychosexual Counselling (Sex Therapy) I work with issues such as:

What is Relationship and Couples Therapy?
Relationship problems can happen at anytime. Perhaps you're feeling alone and isolated. Maybe having difficulty in communicating or connecting with your partner. Your situation may have been brewing for a while or it could be a particular issue or incident that's causing distress. Many couples feel hurt, angry and disillusioned because they don't understand how their relationship got to this point.
In relationship and couples therapy we will look in depth at the issues needing to be dealt with. We will explore you, your partners and your relationships strengths and weaknesses. and see what needs to change to improve your situation. Together we will work on bringing out the best in you and your relationship. Throughout our time together you'll receive the necessary support as well as learn new practical skills to help you deal with your concerns and get your relationship back on track.
What is Singles Therapy?
You can benefit from Psychosexual and Relationship Counselling even if you are single. You may find it hard finding the love of your life. Do you have a problem being faithful to one person or committing to a relationship. Maybe you struggle with communication or have issues regarding intimacy. Perhaps you have a sexual problem or you are shy or have low self esteem regarding relationships and sex.
We will look at and work through any issues that you bring to our sessions to enable you to gain the confidence you need to be able to go forward in life to have a successful and fulfilling sexual and love relationship.
In Psychosexual and Relationship Counselling I work with you whether you are single or married, lLiving together or dating, homosexual, lesbian or straight, whether you have a conventional or alternative lifestyle or relationship.

I have work in Wirral NHS Psychosexual Clinic for the past 2 years. I also have a private practice.
Fees
Individuals £40 for 50 minute session.
Couples £60 for 50 minute session.
Unwaged, students and low income - fees are negotiable.
