I possess VTCT diplomas in Holistic Therapies (Aromatherapy, Swedish Body Massage, Reflexology), Indian Head Massage and Sports/Remedial Massage. I also possess Reiki Level II, Tibetan Acupressure Head Massage and Russian Honey and Cupping Massage diplomas. Swedish Body Massage is the manipulation of body tissues for therapeutic purposes. Swedish body massage involves the kneading, stretching, stroking and wringing of the body's muscles and tissues. In treating the body, the mind is also treated. It improves the function and appearance of the skin, helps with lymphatic drainage, relaxes tight muscles and relieves stiff joints.
Russian Honey and Cupping Massage takes Swedish massage a step further and uses the suction from cups to eliminate cellulite, tone and sculpt the body and remove toxins and impurities. The honey helps to moisturies and soothe the skin.
Sports/Remedial Massage is a deeper massage than Swedish and helps to prevent injuries in athletes. It maintains the body's soft tissue and assists in healing and restoring mobility to injured muscle tissue. It can help to boost performance and address any problem areas.
