A regular check up with your local dentist is essential for healthy teeth. Teeth whitening is a cosmetic dental procedure. There can be tooth and gum sensitivity for up to 48 hours after the treatment.

Crowns, veneers, bridges and any restorative materials not made up of natural tooth enamel will not whiten with this procedure. We use a Blue LED light to speed up the whitening process which is gentle, safe and as effective as any other on the market. Some dentists use a variety of different laser light for teeth-whitening (after which you may be required to take a pain-killer). We place protective eyewear with side shields over your eyes to protect them from the light.

A lip, cheek & tongue retractor will be used to keep your lips & tongue away from your teeth which will allow us full access to your teeth and gums; before a light cured gingival barrier/solution is applied to protect your gums. We determine and record the colour of your teeth with the Vita shade guide before we start the process. The teeth bleaching gel is applied to top and bottom arches of teeth enamel.

The process above is to produce natural white teeth; if you want Hollywood white teeth like a film star you need Veneers, (speak to your dentist).
