Bowen Therapy is a dynamic but gentle energy therapy. It is appropriate for everyone from newborns to the very elderly and frail and it can effectively address a wide range of conditions.

It empowers and activates the body's own healing resources, thus achieving balance and harmony, the result of which is fast lasting relief from pain and discomfort.
The technique is named after Australian Tom Bowen, an industrial chemist in the 1950s. It is a gentle non invasive remedial treatment; there are no forceful moves, rapid manipulation and no massage or deep probing. It is very relaxing, gentle and safe for all ages.
Bowen addresses the whole body, to naturally rebalance, repair and heal itself. The healing may occur at all levels as needed: physical, chemical, emotional, mental, energetic, etc
The treatment session usually lasts from 25 min’s to an hour. Most often, surprisingly few sessions are needed, whether structural or functional, even if long-standing. The results hold for a long time, generally until there is a re-injury.
