What?
This is an opportunity for art student’s and professional artist’s to take part in an art exhibition, spoken word poetry and comedy open mic, event within in a restaurant setting. Public from the local area of Bank will also be invited to take part in the event. Dress code on the night will be casual smart.
The idea is for each participating artist to design one A4 size lampshade image, which will be printed and transferred to backlight film and presented as a night light lampshade bedside table lamp. The design must be completed in landscape A4 jpeg format at 200 dpi. (Images must be clean and family friendly. Copyright responsibilities will remain with the individual artist’s.)

Cost?
The fee to enter the competition is £10.
Which includes a £4.50 admission fee and a £5.50 biryani dish, (drinks not included) At the end of the event artists will be able to take home their lampshade design home. Artist’s work displayed will not be insured and artist’s will be responsible for the safety and security of their own work, while on display at the tables.
Please contact the restaurant and mention “The Curry and Culture Event” to make table reservations and group bookings. Guest’s and the general public get in for free and will have the option of the £5.50 byriani offer for the event.
